Paul H. Ashton, J.D.

Paul Ashton has been associated with the White City Water Improvement District since its creation in on December 23, 1993 and served as General Counsel to the Board of Trustees from 1994 to 2005. In 2005, the Board asked him if he wanted to also accept the position of General Manager in addition to providing legal work for the District. He agreed and since that time has served as the combined “General Manager/General Counsel” for the District.

Mr. Ashton received his Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of Utah in 1979 and his law degree (Juris Doctorate –J.D.) from the University of Utah in 1982. He has practiced law with various law firms in Utah and Alaska since completing a Judicial Clerkship with the U.S. District Court following law school. Mr. Ashton’s law practice focuses on water law and governmental relations.

Mr. Ashton is married, has eight children and fourteen grandchildren.
